Ilka Roncone sent a message to Thomas Wilson that said:
Mr. Wilson,
My email is in regards to a homeowners claim we filed regarding the water damage and corrosion in our master bathroom. The damage is due to the faulty placement or possibly lack of a shower pan liner by the construction company that built our home. We are the original and only homeowners to our residence so therefore it was not done by a previous owner or ourselves.
Allstate has denied our claim citing that it was not a sudden occurrence that caused the damage. I wish that I could include the pictures which show the damage to the wall of our closet which is adjacent to the shower, the mold staining the underside of the flooring through half of the bathroom area, and the discoloration of the tiles within the shower stall.
After many conversations with other homeowners and contractors who have experienced this type of damage, I have been informed over and over again, that it is the responsibility of my homeowners insurance company to repair the damage.
I sincerely hope that you will be able to side with us and reverse the decision that has been made to correct this situation.
