Good Morning Mr Squeri
I have been an American Express card holder for 5 years. I recently accepted a upgrade to the gold card. I discovered my previous limit was not removed, the gold credit card agreement states no preset limit. That is false advertising I had major surgery in 2016 which is when the limit was placed. I do not charge up to my limit because I am a conservative person, that should not disqualify me from having a no preset limit. I an emergent situation I would like to be able to count on my American Express. There was no stipulation in the gold card agreement about a previous limit would not be removed. I feel it is unfair. I would like my limit removed I have proved my credit worthiness to American Express. I have called several times about my limit with no resolution.
