The senior citizen group I belong to have used AMTRACK for the last (3) years and until today services have been great. The trip is from Beaumont, Texas to New Orleans and return to Beaumont. However today the drop off (GETTING OFF THE TRAIN) was unacceptable for all the senior citizens that literally had to jump to reach the step which was frightening having passengers literally having to assist them to the ground. Had the engineer pulled the train up further or perhaps a higher stepping stool could have easily solved these problems. We were 82 in our group from Beaumont, Texas. Mrs. Clara Muller does all our booking. Please don\'t jeopardize our seniors or your company with issues like this. I hope to hear from you or someone from AMTRACK. Thank you for your time.
