Hello Ms. Anne E. Wojcicki, I read the letter you sent out to subscribers of 23andme regarding the racism in this country. Thanks, for that.

There are two things (among many) that have troubled me for some time and I'm wondering if you might help. The first is that historical, racist material is called "African Americana" when in my opinion it should be called racist Americana. The second, related, is that it is allowed to be sold for profit at places like Ebay and auction houses. By contrast, things that glorify Nazism are not allowed to be sold, at least not on Ebay and I suspect not at auction houses. In addition to be abominable, much of the material such as slave auctions and records could be used to help us trace our scattered roots. Protecting this material for researchers, is the least that should be done by way of rectifying an ugly wrong that was perpetrated. I would be happy to hear your thoughts on what might be done. Thank you,
