Philip sent a message to Anthony F. Earley, Jr. Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of PGE Corporation Email Address that said:
Anthony,
I see AEP is going to start putting the cost of renewable energy onto their billings to customers. I am concerned that all the funds PGE is spending on solar, wind, etc. is not going to be born by all the rate payers as it should be. Customers should know what these "gifts" and subsidies are costing. I am tired of upper tier rate payers picking up the reallocated costs. People who have homes shaded should not be forced to contribute to solar costs as they cannot avail themselves of this tax incentive and "gifts" by PGE.
As a former planner at PGE I am also concerned that whoever is now planning to provide California with adequate electric resources has a good handle on future scenarios.
I still tell people that PGE is a great place to work.
Phil
