As a longtime pro member I am extremely disappointed by the terrible customer service your company has given me today. You advertise a pre owned guarantee where all pre owned game will cost at least 20% less for pro members. In my local store there is at least 5 posters advertising this policy. A new copy of Lego Star Wars the Force Awakens was $39.99 so I take a pre owned copy to the register expecting it to be $31.99 ( 20% off the new price) after my pro discount. Instead, it rings up at $47.69. The cashier explains that the pre owned guarantee does not apply to this game and I reply that since the advertisements for the pre owned guarantee do not list any such exclusions that this is a textbook example of bait and switch and also a violation of California state law. The cashier claims that there is nothing he can do for me but gives me the customer service phone number. I call customer service and the agent named ROM says the pre owned price is $47.96. After I explain the bait and switch situation and that the game game should be $31.99 he instructs me to DRIVE BACK TO THE STORE. After I get back to the store Rom the phone agent says that the prices are higher at my local Toys r Us so there is nothing he can to help me. I ask him what in the world does toys r us have to do with anything and why the heck would he have me DRIVE BACK TO THE STORE if he could not help me???? HE said he wanted to comparison shop my local area and when I told him that makes no sense he simply said he is sorry and can not help me. This was a very upsetting encounter and I am very seriously considering contacting the better business bureau.
