I have been banking with BB&T for over 30 years and had 3 mortgages with BB&T. My last a refinance this past Aug 27th Close. I do NOT have auto draft of previous mortgage (BB&T) , I electronically pay it each month. I SPECIFICALLY did NOT pay it for Sept as was told at closing. Almost $2000 was taken from my checking account (Unauthorized) anyways. I have since Sept 2nd been trying to get my money back to NO avail. I have spoken with people at mortgage and banking and have only been getting promises...check will be mailed. As of today's mail , no check. Since BB&T can conveniently electronically remove my money why can they not electronically put it back in? With desire, you could. My main contact has been Robert Gilliland...I don't fault him, has been very helpful throughout process but do fault everyone else's 'promises". Was an 'expedite process' from someone I spoke to on phone at mortgage dept a week and a half ago and a ck will be over nighted from someone else 6 days ago. Very frustrated!!!
