We received an e-mail from BB&T/SunTrust tonight stating that
"As you are likely aware, the SBA has announced that the limited amount of funds allocated for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) have been exhausted.
In anticipation of possible additional funding from Congress, we have thousands of teammates working diligently to continue processing requests. However, due to enormous interest and the unprecedented volume of applications weâve received, weâve made the difficult decision to no longer accept new applications..."
The Brown Law Firm, PLC did submit an application as well as up-loaded what we believed to be all the required support documentation but never received responses from our many request to ppploan to confirm the application with support documentation was complete, or; in the alternative provide us with specifics of what additional information or clarification maybe required to complete my application.
We were not able to obtain any information from your CARES ACT PORTAL. This was not the result some of our clients obtain at other banks.
