I, whose name appear above bought a SAMSUNG REFREGERATOR Serial No R7864 PAF800346, MODEL No. RT26 FAKMASE from the Royal electric duty free shop at BIA International airport Sri Lanka on 19th September 2014. Local agent for SAMSUNG is Sinhagiri Pvt Ltd.
Towards mid, 2015 small black spots started appearing on the doors and side panels. These black spots were corrosion marks. After complaining about this situation via telephone and personally meeting the authorities of “SINHAGIRI” they carried refrigerator for repainting and handed over to me on 03rd June 2016.
Not even two months after the repainting and return of the Fridge corrosion marks started appearing again on the doors and side panels. Informing the Sinhagiri Company I requested them to give me a new Refrigerator as this is a fault in the manufacturing process. However without acceding to my request they took over the fridge again for repainting in a special way and return it on 12th April 2017.
It must be mentioned with responsibility that after sales service of this company is very poor.
I have also kept Mr. Rachitha Ranasinghe senior executive officer at the Sri Lanka Samsung country office about this situation.
Since they are not ready give redress to me, I was compelled to inform the consumer affairs authority of Sri Lanka Government for redress and the inquiry is scheduled to be held on 25th April 2017.
I kindly request you as the CEO of the mother company of the Samsung to do me justice and provide me a brand new refrigerator either RT26, RT27 or RT28.
