Mary Moyer sent a message to Steven Temares that said:
On November 14 I visited the BBB in Exton, PA.
My purchase was rung up and as I put my chip Master Card into the machine the power went out at the register. Just prior to the power going out my card was approved.
The manager of the store checked to see if the purchase went through and I was told it did not. At this point my purchase was re-rung with a 20.00 discount for the inconvenience of the 15 to 20 min. wait.
Both charges were pending on my master card. On November 16, both charges posted to my Master Card.
Rose at the Exton Bed Bath and Beyond store has been most helpful in keeping me calmed down. However, to this date nothing has been done to remove the first charge made to my account. The amount is $277.60. I need help getting this matter resolved.
Rose sent information to the corporate office but I have seen no response from them. I need help.
I am really frustrated and can say I will never use a credit card in your store again.
I feel there is no place to go with this. Your system apparently does not show the first transaction but I was charged twice. Please help me.
