I am a current employee of Best Buy and going into my 13th year with the company. I love Best Buy. I have invested my heart and career into the company.
Recently I made the decision to move to Iowa to be near my daughter so that I can be close her and my only grandchild. Also so she can help me with my husband and in declining health issues.
I hoped to be able to transfer to a store near my new home. I applied for a position that I am more qualified for but the store decided to go with a internal associate which is understandable.
I had hoped to retire from Best Buy because I have so much invested into the company.
My GM has been very supportive during the whole process.
Sadly it seems that I will have to be leaving the company.
I want to thank you for the service you have done for Best Buy. I have watched so much change over the years. Your direction has be such a positive one.
