Carol Seibel sent a message to Hubert Joly that said:
Very disturbing interaction with your Route 51 Store in Pleasant Hills last night. TV covered under warranty and told to bring in our 55 inch tv and they would test and give us a new tv. We went home and at great risk to my well being carried the 55 inch tv upstairs and to the car. My husband is 68 and I am 66. We took the tv to the store and were then informed we had to take the tv home and have a a service man come out to fix it. I said why can't the service man come to the store where the tv was and fix it there. we were told no that is not company policy and had to take the tv home and wait til Tuesday November 5 for the service man to come and fix it. The cavalier way it was handled was not appreciated as we have bought computers, tv and washers at this store. We will be rethinking our next purchase after this incident. It was not easy getting the tv back home again and in the house at our age.
