I urgently need assistance in obtaining a vacation override for my Humira. For the past 2 years I have had 4 or 5 months of Humira sent to me as I vacation in Mexico and have to ask for assistance from this office.
I now am scheduled to leave 11/30/19 for 5 months in Mexico and have been working with my doctor and the pharmacy - CVS caremark - for the past 4 weeks. I was assured 3 weeks ago by my doctor that all was approved and I only have top call the pharmacy. Not accurate.
Now I am told I must first get 1 month from the pharmacy and then the Dr. has to call to verify my condition (why now when I have been on the drug for 3 years) and still will not tell me if I will receive the approval for the balance of my vacation.
Is this how Humana treats a patient? I need your office to approve the vacation allowance as has been done previously. Time is running out.
