@CapitalOne – Richard Fairbank – I called today to speak to someone in CS about removing the interest charges put

Dianne Helm sent a message to Richard Fairbank that said:

I called today to speak to someone in CS about removing the interest charges put on the card after the card was closed and the balance transferred to another institution. This was a final balance and no notice was given to me regarding "residual interest charges" that I found in a new balance today. I am upset that the supervisor I spoke with said "he would if he could take them off but the system wouldn't allow him." I told him that I have have this done in the past as a courtesy and he acknowledged that it has been done. have paid interest in excess of the balance transferred on that card and only wish to close that account in good standing as a faithful customer. I have been a cardholder since 1994 with Capital One. I also have 2 other cards with your company and will continue to use them in the future. thank you for any help you can give me in this matter.
