@CapitalOne – Richard Fairbank – I redeemed a maturing CD on April 23 with a phone call to my Capitol

Peter Judice sent a message to Richard Fairbank that said:

I redeemed a maturing CD on April 23 with a phone call to my Capitol One branch in Scarsdale, NY. I was promised a check by mail. It is now May 20 and I have yet to receive a check despite numerous calls to your
Call Center. I know the pandemic has slowed down response time somewhat but it's been almost a month since I was promised my check and I need the funds to pay some bills on time. Your Call Center says I may now have to wait several more weeks while they figure out what happened to the check, maybe have to take time to stop payment on the "lost" check, then more time before they can cut a new check and send it to me. By then it will be two months since I requested the check. That's totally unacceptable and makes it impossible for me to pay certain bills on time and not suffer a late penalty or negatively affect my credit rating. Meanwhile you have the use of my funds for months with no dividend benefit to me. I'm a very frustrated customer. Can you do anything to resolve this issue without further delay? Thank you, Peter Judice, Larchmont, NY
