Mr. Fairbank,
My name is Terry Counterman and my wife and I are victims of the COVID-19. My wife is very ill and we are quarantined in our house and we are broke until (if & When) our Social Security checks show up.
I have been disabled since 2003 and have a host of chronic health issues which makes me a target for the COVID-19 Virus.
My credit is terrible but thanks to Capital One I have been attempting to repair my credit. You describe in your web site that you can assist when a consumer is. Affected by the COVID-19 Virus. I have had my account for over a year and have paid on time every month plus I have sent 6 times the minimum payment each month and will continue to do so.
Due to the current world wide health situation that we are all experiencing and my wife and being broke, I have asked/applied to Capital One for an increase of $200.00 on my credit line. These are unpresidential time and we all need help. I am asking you for the assistance. I was turned down by the computer and I just need to explain. My past is my past I can’t change that but once you get behind and not able to work you never get caught up. Please Mr. Fairbank, I hope you can help us.

Sincerely,

Terry A. Counterman
