My credit card was canceled on may 28. This is an 18yr old account. The reason for this is that the card has not been used for 2yrs. My credit reporting company let me know this not capital one. Got a letter from capital one 3 days later about this. I called customer service and they told that the account can not be reactivated. Why did capital one not give me the opition to retain this card. If I used this card in a store i would have look stupid. Your company should change the cancellation policy for long term customers. I have canceled my other cards due to your policy. Capital one forces customers to use or lose it.
