Dear Mr. Uchida,
I purchased a used 2013 Nissan Rogue SV about 3 weeks ago. I love the car. The lay out & amenities are absolutely amazing. The drive is both road worthy & comfortable, however this is where my woes begin. It developed transmission problems & the dealer was suppose purchase a 1 year 15,000 mile warranty. on vehicle. When I went to speak to dealer, the Sheriff was putting lock on dealership door. This dealer skipped out on everyone.
I know this is not Nissans problem but from what I've been reading it is not uncommon for CVT transmissions to fail with over 100,000 miles. That being said I believe it's probably due to customers not servicing transmission on regular basis.
Now that you know my situation I'll get to the heart of the matter. I was hoping that Nissan Motor Co. would supply another transmission for this vehicle due to the unusual circumstance surrounding the repair.
I know this is asking a lot from the Company, but I'm basically backed into a corner in this situation. I feel it would be a shame to send such a beautiful vehicle to salvage for just a transmission.
In Closing, I would ask that you be kind in your return correspondence for me having the unmitigated gall to ask this of Company.
