Michael Hill sent a message to Elizabeth Smith that said:
Dear Mr Deno,
I had a $20 dine in reward. I intended to order just now from Outback carryout for Mothers Day for my wife ( who also just happens to be an ICU Nurse and who has taken care of nothing but COVID19 patients in Baltimore city for the last 6 weeks). And we are also going to order and deliver to her mom who is a retired nurse. So between 6 of us total even with the discount, I intended to spend well over $100 for dinner tonight
Unfortunately my dine reward must either have expired during this pandemic or your company wont accept dine in rewards for carry out during the pandemic.
Looks like we will move on from the Outback where we have spent thousands of dollars dining over the years. All because your company couldnât see fit to either extend the dine in rewards deadline or you wont accept dine in rewards for carryout. Not sure which. But I am completely disappointed in Outback. I know my family will be disappointed no Outback tonight.
