Ila Kamdar sent a message to Thomas Richards that said:
This is about lack of communication from CDW to UPS to stop shipment
from being delivered to Scamsters.
a. On 08/23/21 at 7:30 PDT I found out that this was scam.
b. Left message for you on voice mail to stop shipment.
c. I had spoken to UPS and found out parcel was not delivered yet.
d. At about 8:10 PDT you called me back and I asked you to initiate stop instructions to UPS.
e. UPS will take instructions for shipper only, which was CDW in this instance.
f. CDW failed to instruct UPS to hold the shipment for 3 hours, inspite of knowing this was SCAM.
g. The parcel was delivered at 1:00 pm NY time (abt 11 am PDT)
h. You had informed third party pick up is being arranged, we are still waiting for information.
This show clearly CDW FAILED to instruct UPS to stop shipment being delivered.
