Joyce Parente sent a message to Thomas M Rutledge that said:
Mr. Rutlidge, my mother, Maria Wilfong and my stepfather Bud Wilfong, have cable/internet/phone with your company, and have had it for many years. My mother is 84.5 years old and my step-father is 86.5 years old. They have always paid their bills ON-TIME.
They need their phone for emergenices and they need their cable/internet because it is the only entertainment in their lives. Unfortunately, your cable/phone, etc. has proved to be unreliable.
The technicians do their best to figure out the problem, but they too seem perplexed. The problems are temporarily corrected, but the issues repeatedly occur.
Once your company offered a $20.00 credit which seemed almost nearly impossible to get.
Issues are: (1) At one time, their phone number showed up as an international number from India. Problem corrected.
(2) ID on the TV keeps disappearing. My mom and dad do not like to answer the phone without knowing who it is calling them.
(3) TV boxes go out of order. I don't know how, but they do.
(4) Continuous outages in their area.
These problems are not one-time occurrences, but keep repeatedly happening. I will send this email to your board of directors so they too are aware of this situation.
I see your commercials on TV as being a reliable provider. This I don't understanding with my experiences with your company.
I am sure if you and anyone of your BOD were in this situation, it would get remedied quickly.
I will be looking into who to contact, outside your company to communicate this situation. HELP!!
I will also send this email to your BOD, as I am sure you are too busy to read this email.
