Hello Tom,
I write as an angry long time customer. I much prefer giving accolades.
I called about 3 weeks ahead, to cancel my service as I sold my house. The rep DID NOT BOTHER to point out that my cancel date was a couple days past billing date. As I didn’t need the service for 4-5 days before my closed date, it would have been EASY to cancel earlier. I just matched it to the buyer move in date.
I have spoken with three of your employees and MY, what a lack of understanding or cooperation.
Why would anyone read the small print on BACK of statement? Especially after being a customer for many years. Your rep should have told my or at the least reiterated that my closing balance would be full amount. I have calmly asked several people about this policy. Not one has agreed it’s reasonable.
I do not feel I owe a month, but would gladly pay something.
Please understand I am not being unreasonable in my request.
Appreciate your consideration,
Shirley Petersen
