Pardon my request, but I need help. My mother is a client of Citigroup and is now completely debilitated by Brain Cancer, with a terminal prognosis. She has had to leave her home which is under mortgage with Citigroup. Although we have had it on the market for the last 6 months, our realtor projects we will not be able to sell it at the price of her outstanding loan debt.
I know we can go down a long and windy path with short sales/foreclosures, but honestly- life is already hard enough for both of us... So I am asking if you will take heart in these unfortunate circumstances and simply forgive the loan and let us move on.
