I recently had a problem with your service department and I’m looking to gain some assistance on clearing this matter of my credit.

During the summer months I call repeatedly your representative center to communicate with them the reason why I didn’t receive the monthly payment billing for my charge card of Sears. Because I lived in 2 different states, when applying the day of the transaction the Sears store employee was trying to input the information for my account to be approved. With this action she used a California address, I believe because the underwriters instruction when the account was being approved. Unfortunately I have been living in Massachusetts for over a year now at our second residence. So I made the initial payments and spoke with a rep at Sears to confirm the monthly billing be sent out to the address above not my California address which you can verify by the photo id and this was confirmed.

Months later the United States Postal Service finally started sending my mail because I requested a forward on all my mail from my California address. Having said this I seen the bill and shortly after checked my credit to see if there was late and any charge off notifications. At this time I seen your institution already charged this off in which I never received any letter of termination, and or final notice before these actions will be taken.

My credit score was a 740 before this credit card and now has been decrease substantial because of the late and charge off that was applied. I want to pay this balance in full with your firm and continue to value Sears as a credit card. I believe this a miscommunication and store representative mistake, this action by Citi is an inappropriate action based on my attempts I have made to remedy this financial mistake. I called in several time and I had one rep hang the phone up on me once I explained the situation and another that I could not understand at all when it came to the instructions and information, after I asked the gentlemen to repeat the information it seemed to me that he became aggravated with my requests.

I’m looking for these following items to insure we remedy the issue, I would like to continue to work with Citi and Sears, a guaranteed action and letter that these negative remarks be removed from my credit report and a paid in full status be applied, in which I will make a deposit to my account to satisfy my account balance in full. I have only been a client with your firm a year and this a lot to go through for such a small amount of debt.

I look forward to hearing from you and fixing this miscommunication within my account. I thank you in advance for any assistance that you may provide.

Regards,

Jason Medeiros
