Hello good after noon. My name is Christina Toro. I am writing you today concerning my mortgage loan. I am so disappointed with citizens bank. I am a single mom of five kids who have been affected by the covid19. Since I have had a mortgage. I have never missed a payment even when my daughter was diagnosed with cancer and I still was scraping by. I have always paid my mortgage. It is so sad to say i sat on the phone for three days on hold for hours at a time hung up on to finally get a call back to be told during this time the only thing they can do for me is suspended my mortgage for 90 days then be expected to pay as soon as i am back to work. How to they expect a person who lives pay check to paycheck to pay back a payment on top of my annual mortgage payment. It is so sad to say but this country is built off of American's that live paycheck to paycheck to have these banks not care how they get their money as long as they get it even if they are taking food out of our children's mouth. I know of many mortgage companies that are willing to postpone payments till the end of their mortgage with no extra interest but what is owed so customers are not overwhelmed with playing catch up. Not that my message would make a difference but this is such a horrific thing Americans are going through for us to also deal with a financial hardship. It's such a shame that you would treat your customers this way at a time when our country is dealing with this tragedy. Sincerely yours Christina Toro.
