Myra OShea sent a message to Charles Koch that said:
Hi Mr. Koch,
First of all, thank you for taking time reading this letter of mine because I know you have busy schedule everyday. My name is Mrs. OShea, has a 6 years old daughter and a wife of a navy veteran. We\'re both filipino descent but my husband was adopted by his step-father who was an Irish. The reason I am writing is because I need your help desperately.
Forgive me for being forward but I am not writing you because I need money from you but a job. We are currently living in California (San Fernando Valley) and working as a data entry in a dental laboratory for more than five years. Unfortunately my husband who is now under disability because of neck injury happened 2 years ago...we applied and recieved 1 year disability from the gov\'t but after that we applied for permanent disability and up until now its still pending not knowing if we ever going to get it. Since then, I solely burden all the bills, food and rent. I am making very little and its nener enough. There\'s never a day thinking about how are we going to eat or if I ever going to make the rent for next month (living in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment). We literally, buying food in dollar store and shop in Salvation army or Goodwill store for clothes which I have done for the past almost 3 years to survive. My husband and I were not educated (H.S. graduated only) but I work hard and can learn.
I have never done this before but I am doing this for my daughter and I know I am being shameless for asking you this and I saw your interview in Yahoo and you seem very nice and down to earth kind of person.
Thank you very much and hope to hear from you soon. You may contact me at 8185380931
