@costco – Craig Jelinek – Dear Mr. Jelinek, As a Costco member and investor, I am writing to encourage you

Dear Mr. Jelinek,

As a Costco member and investor, I am writing to encourage you to implement a robust online consumer presence to compete with Amazon.

Yes, Costco.com allows ordering, but is no match for Amazon. Costco, in my humble opinion, is strategically positioned to put Amazon out of business. Yes, you'd have to hire Bezos' engineering team, but they're not happy with Jeff's attitude toward employees, as you may have noticed recently.

Costco has a reputation of caring for employees and customers, and it's obvious. America needs another choice besides Amazon and Jet.

Did you know that 63% of Amazon’s customers are Prime members, which equates to 117 million members spending about $1,500 annually? How about Costco Crown members, but for a smaller annual fee, assuming you don’t want to offer streaming services?

Thanks for taking time to consider.

John Hughes
