I am accustomed to topnotch customer service at Costco unfortunately an online purchased made on 5/24/20 an LG refrigerator (to replace our current one that stopped working so without a frig in the kitchen). Logging into my order it has shown for at least a week delivery available as soon as 6/5. Since no communication was forthcoming about delivery I used the Chat today to inquire and was informed it was due to ship out the week of 7/13. I was very upset to learn this and that the order was able to be placed (when I tried to also order an oven and microwave the following day I couldn't because it was out of stock). I purchased the frig Memorial day Weekend at your special Memorial Day Weekend sale price and passed up sales at other stores in favor of Costco. I would have at the very least expected some communication from Costco about this delivery delay or at minimum corrected on the Order site informing me of this delay. To live for close to 8 weeks without a refrigerator in your kitchen when working from home and during pandemic is extremely stressful. I inquired about a different LG frig that was in stock that could be delivered in 1-2 weeks, the price on the available model is $500 higher. I inquired if anything could be done about the price and was told "no." Under all these circumstances - frustration and stress increased; and definitely disappointment with my Costco experience. As a loyal customer I am reaching out to you to share my experience and to inquire if anything can be done, recognizing those working in the call center may not have had authority to do anything to make this situation right. I appreciate your attention hearing about my experience. Sharona Stone
