Mr. Jelinek, I am a loyal long time member of COSTCO. However, I will be cancelling my membership and I will not shop at COSTCO anymore. I will also urge all my family and friends to cancel their membership. Apparently, COSTCO doesn't need our hard earned money.
Earlier today I went to COSTCO to do some shopping. I was not allowed to go in and do my shopping because I was not wearing a mask!! I told them that I was exempt for medical reasons but they said I couldn’t go in without a mask. You either are not aware, or you really do not care that the California Department of Public Health has issued a "Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings." This Guidance states: "The following individuals are exempt from wearing a face covering: - Persons with a medical condition, mental health condition or disability that prevents wearing a face covering."
Neither you or any of your employees know anything about your customers or their health condition. I am wondering if I wore a mask in order to shop in COSTCO and I fainted, fell and hurt myself in your facilities will COSTCO pay my medical bills or any other expense that will rise from that fall??
It is also obvious that you do not believe in people’s Constitutional rights. We all know that masks do not work. Your bio doesn’t say that you are a doctor who understands the use of masks. However, we all know that washing your hands with shop and water is the most important. But there is only one faucet and one soap dispenser working in the men’s and the women’s bathrooms at the COSTCO I usually shop. Instead of forcing your customers to wear a mask I will suggest that you provide clean, sanitized bathrooms with running water and soap so your customers can wash their hands.
As a CEO of COSTCO I assume you have the final say as to whom your Corporation will cater to. As a customer I make my decision where I will spend my money. No more patronizing big Corporations. I will spend my money at small business, the back bone of this country.
