Mr. Jelinek,
I am writing to you because of your mask policy that has been initiated in all of the warehouse stores. I have been a member for quite some years now and deem Costco as my favorite store. I am sure many have expressed their dismay with this policy as I am going to do now. I was told by the Easton Store in Columbus, Ohio, that I would have to get a doctor's note if I did not want to wear a mask. How absurd, considering that you cannot see a doctor without a video conference and a cost. Now let me say that I don't have a medical illness, but I can't breathe in a mask. I was not asked to wear one prior to May 4th and should not be asked to wear one now if it is my choice or causes a problem. The Surgeon General does not suggest wearing one and by the way, if it is a requirement, are you going to provide them? Does the information from the Surgeon General not matter? Please reach out to me. I enjoy shopping there and encouraging others to spend their money there as well. However, I can't wear a mask in any store. I really think this needs to be addressed. It is not my responsibility or yours to keep people healthy. If that were so, you would not sell the junk foods in the warehouses.
