With the latest Supreme Court ruling on internet sales tax collection a lot of small businesses are going to either comply or discontinue internet sales. Why doesn't PayPal start to offer subscriber businesses an additional service: To wit, collection and remittance of the state sales tax on a given transaction based on the purchaser's state of residence? The vendor pays you a fee and you handle the collection, remittance and paperwork. It should be a piece of cake for your software programmers.
