Hello,

I have recently received communications from PayPal regarding a refund in the amount of $142.00 issued back to me through PayPal for tickets to a JPAC event at Louisburg College in NC. The original purchase occurred in Sept 2019.

Because of the intervening 6 months, unforeseen current circumstances that gave rise to this refund, and changes to my credit card accounts (including the closure of one), I am extremely concerned about how and when I am to receive these funds back and/or from whom exactly.

Bottom line is that I need to know the last 4 digits that you have on file for the card used for the original ticket purchase transaction in September 2019. This will allow me to better track which account was used and is associated with the funds that are supposed to have been refunded and allegedly cleared the bank (based on communications from PayPal to Louisburg College as of today or yesterday based on information shared with me in a phone call with Pam earlier today). Neither of the possible two banks that may have been associated with this original purchase are yet showing funds have been returned. Moreover, my account with one of them is now closed! AND, I do NOT have an active PayPal account (recently also closed the only account I had, as I do not trust PayPal and do not want to do business with PayPal).

As you all do NOT make it easy for me to be in touch by phone, and this matter does not neatly fall into any of the categories offered by automated phone prompts even if I did call, I am requesting immediate escalation and assistance to resolve this issue promptly. This refund transaction has now been pending for about a week, based on the receipts I have from the various parties involved.

Would sincerely appreciate a prompt phone call from a competent representative who is informed and capable of helping me work through the process of figuring this all out. I can be reached directly by phone at: (919) 263-9171.

Should I not hear back from the CEO or PayPal directly regarding this matter with satisfactory information by the end of this week (Friday, March 27, 2020), I will take further action by filing a complaint against all involved parties via my state’s consumer protection division within the Attorney General’s office.
