I am hoping you can help me as I have been in contact with your customer service team since the 21st February regarding a missing payment.
I transferred £30.00 on the 14th February and this money has never been received in my account. I have spoken to my bank and they recommended that I contact PayPal and ask them to trace the payment which I did.
I then followed this up with a call on the 1st March and the member of staff said he would put a trace on the payment and that I would receive an update by email. On 4th March I called PayPal again for an update and the lady was very helpful and credited my PayPal account with £30.00 as a goodwill gesture and confirmed I should receive an update by the end of the day with an update.
I waited till 7th March and called again for an update and was told he would chase the backroom staff up and I would receive an update. He also agreed to a further credit of £10.00 after I asked for a further credit for the poor service I had received.
I contacted them again on 9th March as no update had been received and was promised by the member of staff that she would take personal responsibility and I asked her to update me by 6pm that night with the update. I also suggested that my paypal account be credited again with £30.00 and that when the missing payment was found that paypal keep it as I would have had another £30.00 from paypal.
I have now contacted paypal again this morning and spoke to a manager whose name was George. He has explained that as I have already had a goodwill credit another credit of £30.00 could not be applied. I have asked him to update me by 6pm today but do not have any faith that this will happen.
I am now emailing you to ask if you could please resolve this issue for me as this is the first time I have had an issue with paypal.
