I am messaging you as I am unfortunately at the end of my tether with PayPal UK. Their dispute resolution process is a complete waste of time and they are awarding disputes to fraudulent Chinese sellers who con people into buying from them by portraying themselves as US sellers. It's not until you receive your goods, realise they are fake and try to resolve the issue that you realise who you are dealing with. I provided PayPal UK with a large document full of evidence against this seller, showing that they operate under multiple names and emails, all of which have been reported as scams, yet PayPal still refused to award me a refund and instead sided with this seller. The seller only offered a refund if I sent the item back to them â¦. in China. The cost of this is almost as much as the claim - they do this as they know people are not going to waste any more money on them - therefore if you don't send it back to them then PayPal award the dispute in their favour. PayPal are not looking at the bigger picture!
It is really upsetting to read on the Community Form on PayPal that many other buyers have had the same issue. I thought PayPal was there to protect buyers from this type of seller? If I see a website offers PayPal then I trust that my money is safe - obviously this is not the case with many transactions and we are being let down by PayPal.
I would really love to hear your views on this - surely you want to protect your company's reputation and image as a trusted source of payment online??
Many thanks and regards
