I am totally speechless regarding this case. Sergejs Balanels Transaction amount EUR 180.00 Transaction reference 56S20865TD155145S
I brought an item from the seller known as Sergejs for a Rode Microphone. When I received the microphone had some missing item in it, the cable XLR and the cd was missing in it. I opened a case to Paypal regarding this. The case cost is for the full amount I paid for this item and this 180Euros.
In meanwhile the seller contacted me to make an offer to settle the dispute. He offers to reduce the price of the item so I don't need to return it and I can buy the missing item. We agree that I will keep it for 100 Euros. 80 Euros was refunded by the seller.
But There was a problem I did not test this item to see if the item was functional. I tested the item with my neighbour and we noticed that no sound was produced by this item.
I contacted the manufacturer that is located in Australia and visited a sound shop here and they both advised that the item was faulty.
Meaning this seller may have posted me a faulty item that I cannot use.
I reported this issue to the seller and PayPal.
I have no idea where Paypal got this wrong but they did.
They closed this case on my favour but only agreed for 80 Euros to be given to me when the seller is left with 100 euros of my money and I am left with a damaged item I cannot use.
This is not right at all. When I reported this issue Paypal close the case right after I accepted the item for 100 Euros, I reported all this to Paypal and Paypal told me they have re-open the case but strangely they re-open the case only for the 80 Euros that was refunded.
I have no idea why when what I was requesting was for the original claim to be re-open and I was told this was the case.
It is obvious that I am not going to open a case for the 80 euros I open a case for the 180 euros because this is what I paid for this item.
Anyway, Paypal closed the case apparently on my favour for 80 Euros.
This is not fair, the seller is left with 100 Euros of my money and I am left out pocket for 100Euros and a damaged item.
I do not accept this outcome, you made a mistake and I will kindly advice you to review to this case accordingly.
I want the full refund of the money paid for this item and this is 180 Euros, not 80 Euros.
You closed this case without checking with me if I was happy with all the resolution 2 times and after this, you telling me the case cannot be re-open.
This is not fair I am left with a damaged item when the seller made 100 Euros for an item that nobody will pay money for as it is not working.

This is, by the way, the second time you close a case that was unfair to me.
I would like to also appeal reference PayPal dispute id: PP-D-36223820 , sometimes ago I open a case for this Item number 233193498351 The case was just closed I never received this item and the seller never responded to my emails. I contacted your service but you simply said again you won't re-open the case despite the seller never responded and I never received the item I paid for.
