Staci Melinda Williams sent a message to Daniel Schulman that said:
Mr. Schulman:
I just wanted to say that you have helped to put my mind at ease. I am an African-American female who is not being heard by society. I have been educated by some of the best schools on the East coast and have been told by my therapist that I am an excellent communicator, despite this assurance, I find that I am constantly having to explain myself even to those I consider to be good friends,, but to no avail. I have spent years beating myself up because I felt that I was not articulate enough. You cannot imagine the headaches I have had. After reading your article in Fast Company on the issue of companies and morality, I learned that I am an ordinary person who is not being heard. Thanks for caring.
