My frustration with Paypal
Dear Mr. schulman,
I am writing to you because my husband (unlike me) refuses to let this go. On the second of March, I purchased binary options signals from binary-tools.org. (info@binary-tools.org(paypal)) Before money was exchanged, all questions were answered in a swift and timely manner including the question about a refund. Whomever I was in communique with said they offered one in the email. After looking at my PayPal account, we had issues with the charges. The payment was supposed to be $200.00. The actual charge was $207. 98. Nothing was mentioned about a currency exchange rate. We only used the software actively for maybe two weeks and then we asked for a refund because it didn’t make sense to us and we couldn’t figure it out. That is when the sellers went MIA. I tried for weeks to contact them with no reply/response. They had offered to send signals via Skype before they went MIA. I didn’t respond right away because I have major health issues (I am on dialysis and I have side effects from the treatments). Due to me not responding right away, no communications was ever established. When I did try to establish the Skype connection, it went unanswered ( I made several attempts with no response) I am not sure if the Skype address was correct or not. The deciding point of the purchase was the knowledge of IF the software didn’t meet our expectations, we could get a refund. This person or these people are operating as scam artists. They are deceiving the public and not giving everyone who engages them enough information to make an informed judgement… ie exchange rates and Skype signals. I researched online regarding this company and did not find any negative info therefore giving me the illusion it was OK to do business with them. I contacted customer service at PayPal to report the deception and basically the buck was passed. The C/S rep told me to contact my bank and report it as a charge back and state that I had not received the item. She said to do this based on how the account was set up. (It is set up as me sending a donation) I feel this is not a satisfactory resolution. My problem with PayPal is that the company is allowing this group of people or person to continue to operate freely scamming the public. Based on my experience as a consumer, they give the appearance as con artists and have been flying under the radar for who knows as long. Those people will change their company name when they feel their thievery is about to catch up with them. I reported them to IC3/FBI for internet fraud. I am asking you to recover our money ($207.98) and fine them for deception (better yet shut down the account until proof is shown otherwise) . This amount may seem minuscule to you, but it is a huge amount to us and we cannot afford to lose it. My paypal id is positivelite@hotmail.com. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Kind regards,
Prentina Brewer Dean
