There will be a large amount of emails regarding this complaint.
In short your mobile app rejected 4 booking attempts stating invalid card. It went through on the 5th attempt. The MM hotel Cheltenham had me down for all 5 rooms. They agreed to charge me for one. The following day the took a further £767. They say it was down to BDC and you systems and that it happens frequently.
I say that if this is the case and it's know by both the you are unjustly enriching yourselves.
I don't book many holidays personally with BDC but do it through my family and friends and have used BDC for years.
All BDC needed to do was agree that the first attempts we're declined. After many, many ignored emails and 4 hour long calls to BDC, even on the last occasion I was told that they would contact MMC and I would be definitely get the money returned, it was a further lie! For the avoidance of doubt I have the screenshots.
How many times must this happen? I would guess on a massive scale ad people will not go to the legal cost to fight such unjust enrichment.
