Dolores Braithwaite sent a message to David Brandon that said:
Good afternoon Mr. Brandon,
I am surprised to be sending you an e-mail 4 days before Christmas but I feel you are the only person to which I can voice my concern in the hopes to get a resolution.
On "black friday", November 27th, I purchased the xbox360 Disney Infinity Star Wars Starter Pak along with the xbox 360 WWF 2K16 from the Times Square Store for my Godsons. The cost for each was $39.99. At the time of purchase, I asked whether I could exchange if I had the wrong one ( not knowing if it should be the 360 or xbox one). The young lady was very professional and told me there would be no problem, just bring it back and it will be an even exchange.
Needless to say, I found out, I should have purchased the xbox one items instead. This afternoon I went to the Times Square store to conduct the even exchange. I was told that I would have to now return the $39.99 items and purchase one for $64.99 and one for $59.99. When I told the cashier of my conversation on "black friday" and pointed out the young lady I had the conversation with on 11.27, I was told, "she is new and does not know anything" That was insulting as I must say that young lady was very helpful to me on that day.
I asked to speak to a Manager. Alesha came to speak to me and told me she could not give me an even though I am only asking for an exchange of the same items from xbox 360 to xbox one. She told me that black friday deals can\'t be exchanged. Once I leave the store and return the item, I can\'t get the black friday deal price but most pay the full price or whatever the price is. I must also mention that I have the full receipt indicating the cost for the two items.
I am asking for your assistance in this matter. As you can imagine, it is time sensitive as December 25th is approaching. If an arrangement can be made for an even exchange of the two items at the price on the receipt, Toys R Us looks to still make more as I plan on purchasing the NBA2K16xbox one and additional games.
I can be reached via e-mail at brides@aol.com or via phone at 718.791.5322.
I look forward to your assistance.
Thank you
