To Whom it May Concern:

This request is made in an effort to rebuild my credit worthiness. During the lull and downturn in the economy, I lost my job in July, 2015, as it was grant-funded. Unfortunately, and due to circumstance beyond my control, I was unable to make even the minimal payments on my accounts. The losing of my job coupled with the escalating cost of child care resorted to me having to provide child care services myself as my resources were limited.

A review of my records, and in particular, a review of my credit report, will reflect that prior to losing my job, my credit was in good standing. I am a very frugal, credit conscious person that believes in paying their bills on time. Accordingly, it pains me to see my otherwise good credit rating diminish before my eyes. It is for this reason that I’m praying upon you to accord me an option to re-establish my credit standing.

Just recently, I secured a job, and I’m making efforts to correct the deficiencies in my accounts. During my unemployment, I had to rely on financial assistance through Veteran agencies because I could not afford to pay our mortgage or utility expenses. My husband is a veteran that served in Afghanistan. It was during his absence while serving his commitment to this great country, and lack of income that primarily contributed to our financial hardship. As a mother, I had to make some decisions that I thought best served my family at the time. Therefore, I had to prioritize the needs of my children and family and made the decision to ensure that basic needs of life were met, food, clothing, and shelter.

I trust that you would take the foregoing misfortunes into consideration when reviewing my account. As I am trying to re-establish my credit, while at the same time meet my financial obligations, I hope that you would waive the fees that my account has accrued and allow me to establish a payment plan that would be amenable and doable to both your organization and myself. Over the years, I have thoroughly enjoyed the professionalism provided by your organization, and I look forward to a great many of years of the same caliber of service.

If you should have any questions in this regard, please feel free to contact me at (352) 283-0090, or email me at anna.edwards81@gmail.com.

Your assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Anna E. Heitzman
