Dear Andrew, I’m writing to you as I am extremely disappointed in Sony Computer Entertainment – Andrew House email address

Claire  sent a message to Andrew House President and Group CEO, Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. that said:

Dear Andrew,

I'm writing to you as I am extremely disappointed in Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. I have been a loyal Sony fan for many years and have owned many of your consoles, however, myself and my fellow European customers are feeling short changed.

My husband purchased 'Rock Band 4' for Christmas. Now, we both wanted this game on the premise that all our previous DLC would be eventually transferable. The process to obtain the above has been nothing short of disgraceful. There seems to be delay after delay with being able to retrieve content, putting SCEE customers behind those of SCEA and Microsoft, who apparently have no issue releasing content to ALL regions. Were currently awaiting the 'Rock Band 1' export to be made available, almost a month to the day that it was released for SCEA. Is this acceptable, considering all your customers paid for their content the same? There are a lot of angry voices on the official forums, all frustrated by the lack of meaningful communication about this. Being repeatedly told 'soon, hang tight, be patient', isn't good enough. Even then, this is coming from Harmonix, I can't seem to get a response from your official Twitter feeds.

I have been made aware that a similar issue occurred with 'Rocksmith', and only when legal action was proposed, did the issue get resolved. I don't want to resort to extremes, but issues like the above account to mis-selling in this region from both Harmonix and SCEE, and I'm quickly losing faith in both companies.

I would therefore urgently like a response, detailing either a timescale of completion of this matter, or a meaningful, non-vague explanation of why there is a delay and what is being done to resolve it. I will otherwise be considering relevant further advice.

I thank you for your time and attention to this email and look forward to your response.

Yours sincerely, Claire
