William Parsons sent a message to William S. Demchak - Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The PNC Financial Services Group - Email Address that said:

Dear Bill

I have been a customer of your bank since it purchased National City, which had purchased First of America.

I am also a stockholder having received shares through mergers.

I do have a suggestion which may or may not work given your IT systems and perhaps banking regs.
Is it possible to list on your customers account listing that they also are a stockholder? It may be helpful in some cases for your people in the branches, wealth management or trust to know this when dealing with a customer or potential customer. I do understand that many customers may hold shares in 401k accounts or mutual funds. These would be very difficult if not impossible to identify. However direct investors might be nice to track. I also understand adding and deleting holders may be difficult as well as how you handle those who hold shares jointly.

Just a suggestion. As a trust officer many years ago we did track this information at First of America.

P.S. Thanks for the increase in your stock value.
