David sent a message to Brian C. Cornell Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Target Corporation – email address that said:
Dear Brian,
I would like to share my opinion about the transgender bathroom issue. It doesn't matter to me whether a man or women is gender confused or gender challenged. There is no reason for a man to use a women's bathroom or a woman to use a man's bathroom. The Target corporation, airports and many other corporations have family bathrooms. I have used these bathrooms many times and when I am in that bathroom, no one else is. If a man or woman feels like he or she is the opposite gender and is uncomfortable using the same bathroom as their same gender then he or she could use the family bathroom. Because a person feels like he or she is the opposite gender does not make it so. I am a registered nurse and every penis I have seen has a male body attached to it and every vagina I have seen has a female body attached to it. Anyone who ever made it to the ninth grade should have studied it in biology. The combination of X Y chromosomes determine the gender of the human body. A person can change the outside appearance but cannot change the DNA. One last thought for you. If you allow people to use bathrooms of their opposite gender then when I walk up to a Target store and urinate on the outside wall and sidewalk you will have to say that is okay because I will tell you that I feel like a dog and therefore I am. Sounds stupid doesn't it? That's because it is. Maybe I'll fill out an application for a grant to further my education.... since I'm a 55 year old Chinese-German-French-American female trapped in a man's body that makes me a minority so I should qualify.
