Hello, my name's Killian, I'm a 17 years old and I've been doing some research on the Dakota Access Pipeline issue that has been going on with the Native Americans sacred land and the profits that could come from the pipeline. I have a very simple request, and I know that it's hard to give up something that has a lot of potential, but please read this email completely and try to see it from this point of veiw, could you please help make it so that the Dakota Access Pipeline is not accessed.
The ground are very sacred to the Native American tribes and to many people who have respect for the native americans. Creating the pipeline would be impeding on peoples lives in Patoka, Illinois by making it so that there is a higher risk of their water becoming toxic like in Pavillion, Wyoming where their case is due to contaminated water from fracking, which it may be still contaminated in some house holds to this day, which this had happen eight years ago.
But think about it like this, if someone was to come in and start to use the land that a beloved family member of yours or someone you knew to acquire oil, and there's the chance it could contaiminate the water of the locals wouldn't you be against it? Because its putting another persons health endanger over something that can be avoided completely, that's simply not fair, to the people and it's not fair to the enviorment because it might make other areas in the enviorment contaminated or less fertile with soil.
I hope you can see the point that I'm coming from, I'm not demanding you to stop this but Im just asking you to help make a difference maybe on this dying earth that's screaming for help while mankind helps influence this beautiful unquie world flower to wither away, and help make it a little bit more healthy by not damaging the area and helping leave an area alone, it's your choice.
