Dear CEO,I am writing this letter to express my disapointment in your company’s hiring process – Greg D Carmichael email address

Melvin sent a message to Greg D. Carmichael Chief Executive Officer of Fifth Third Bancorp Email Address that said:

Dear CEO,

I am writing this letter to express my disapointment in
your companys hiring process. My name is Melvin Cox and I am a current licence foster parent in which the state does consistant background checks. A few weeks ago I had applied for the personal banker position in Chicago. I was contacted by a local recruiter in which he set up a face to face interview by a local bank manager. He was very impress and as a result I was presented a job offer. I was instructed to do a drug and background check in which I cooperated. I had informed the recruiter after he set the expectationa I would start training on Monday 01-25-2015 because training cycles are every other Mondays that I would need to do a 2 week notice to my employer. As a result I put in my 2 week letter of resignation of my Job of 7 years. I was consistant in following up with the recruiter to find out training locations and times. The recruiter emailed me and apologies and says that theres been a confusion and tells me that they cant move foward because back ground was pending only to find out several days later the recruiter tells me that my back ground was uneligible for employment at fifth third in which doesnt make sense considering I have a clean background due to me being license with the state of IL to practice fostering. There has got to be a better way to conduct the hiring process. As a result I am without employment as a result of false expectations of your companys hiring process. This is simply unacceptable and has no regards for applicants lively hood.

Regards,

Melvin
