Dear CEOs of Plus Size Clothing;
Hello, every time I go into a store I find myself leaving without buying anything. You clothes and mannequins/pictures are for smaller women. When I try something on, nothing seems to lay right for the clothing. I’m not sure who your buyers are or who makes your clothing. I do know this is not working for your average plus size women.
Also, when you have the sizes most women need, they look like older women clothing. Your design teams need to come up with fun but tasteful styles for women between 35 and 50. We don’t like looking older (because of the clothing), or not fitting right in the places we need them to. I think if you have this concept in mind, you would make better clothing and make profits. This would be a win win. Also, you need to have mannequins and picture models that are average plus size (size 24 and up).
I want you to see the enclosed pictures. I am 44. These pictures are for your inspiration to dress me with color and fabric for my age. Most of us want to cover our rolls or to make them stand out less. Who will rise to the challenge? Like I stated before, I believe you will see more growth in your products if you give this a shot.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Heidi
