Dear Chandrashekaran Sir,
First of all very good evening to you sir. Hope you are doing great with good spirit. I would like to congratulate you and the entire team at TCS for bringing the company to the apex position.
Let me have a pleasure introducing myself to you.I am V Shivakumar from pune having a 7+ years of professional experience working with some of the great MNC Companies based out of India Namely eClerx Services Limited , BNY Mellon India Operations ltd and Deutsche Bank operations India Ltd.
As far as the highest qualification is concerned I have completed my MBA from IIPM(Indian Institute of planning and management pune) in Finance and marketing.
As one of my dream was to work in Indian Company and help the Indian economy prosper well and wanted my nation to reach at the highest level. I expressed my desire and willingness to join TCS BPO division , and applied for the KYC/AML Process in your esteemed organization for HSBC as a client.
Summary for your quick reference and help from your end.
February 26th 2016 I had come down for the interview process at the pune facility located at Hinjewadi. The same day all the rounds of interview process was completed and I was selected for the process. I was told by the HR manager Mr Saurabh Jain that the initial selection has been done and As a part of joining formalty I am supposed to submit all my testimonials to the organization.
February 29th 2016 I went personally to submit all the documents with only medical fitness pending from my end which I had submitted by march 3rd 2016 personally and also a soft copy of the same was sent to Mr Saurabh Jain to his official mail address.
Post which I had also filled the online application form , which was a part of joinig formality. Which was also done duly from my end, and same was communicated to Mr Saurabh Jain. And to my surprise it was told to me that the education verification is ascertaining the status of IIPM. On the contrary the TCS blue form itself has IIPM inscribed and included in it. And I was told to wait till Tuesday I.e 8th March 2016, where in a final confirmation will be given to me. and subsequently the offer letter will be released.
Post which there was no communication was there from the authorities. And on the back of it we were told in the general introduction round that within a month’s time the joining and on boarding activities will be completed an there will be no further extension from the organzations end. Keeping that in my mind and also I had some personal commitments and work to be done I had resigned from Deutsche bank keeping a positivity in my mind that it is the only question of offer letter and I will be in a position to join in the month of April 2016 Latest by first week for the process interviewed for. In spite of repeated chasers and mails I did not get any favourable response from TCS. Also calling from my side on repeated occasions and speaking to Miss Tulika Bhandari went on vain as the information was never cascaded to Mr Saurabh Jain.
After a span of a month I got the response from Mr Saurabh Jain that they have received a positive response from the education verification department that iipm is recognized, but there was no position vacant for Team leader profile. My concern here is if the document verification was done on a speedy manner I would have been a part of TCS Now. Respected sir with full sense of humility and rationality in mind that I have come across is that after some time only professional experience is what really matters in the order to get a good position.
After all was said and done my profile was introducted to the new HR Manager Miss Hetal Parikh and again I had to go through the lengthy procedure without any result. It was said to me that the panel members are only looking at the candidates who has experience as a Team Leader on paper. Which seems to be a bit contradictory as earlier for the same process I was shortlisted For Team Leader and now there was a complete 360 degree turn over. Respected sir I would also like to say that with great power comes the great responsibility . If I am recruited as a team leader at level 3 I will make sure that I will be in a position to make the TCS reach leaps and bounds with all my able and intellectual skill sets.
Today I got a mail from Hetal Madam stating that I have not cleared the interview process, as she has received a feedback from the Hiring manager Roopesh that he interviewed me and Wrote in the feedback form that I don’t have a relevant experience in transaction monitoring process. Which is not the case, as I was never interviewed at all to arrive at a conclusion and judgement from the panel members. Respected Sir I would like to seek a favourable response from your side and a helping hand from your end.
Also please don’t treat this letter as any escalation mail against the authorities.
Treat this letter as a pleading letter from the able Indian Candidate who can create wonders even if he does not have a leading experience on papers. But all the observations from the reporting managers where ever I have worked. Which gives me the confidence and conviction that I will be able to lead the team in the best and efficiently.
