Dear Christopher,
My mother, Wilma J. Berks, died Feb. 15, 2016. She had a renter's insurance policy with you all that should not have been renewed for 2016 as she moved out of her apartment on 12/29/2015 and into a nursing home under Hospice Care. I was in the process of filing for Medicaid when she died basically penniless.
I have gotten every excuse in the book as to what your company cannot cancel the policy as of its begin date but that's what should happen. Instead they put a cancellation date of 4/23/16 in and want me to pay it. I will not. If you would like to discuss this with me, please respond to my email and I will provide a phone number.
