Venkat sent a message to Francisco D’Souza CEO, Cognizant – email address that said:
Dear Frank,
Please note I have excellent experience in Lean Six Sigma in the domain of FA, Publishing, Financial Printing. I have been twice interviewed at Cognizant however i have been rejected for two reasons:
a) My basic educational qualification is Diploma
b) I was unable to speak about key theoretical (exact) definitions in Project Management, Lean and CFO level metrics (no thought given to why it is important can we look to question it?)
In fact as a hand-on person, if the discussion gets into the concepts and real time experience. I would be able to add better value. Please note whether in Cognizant theoretical definitions (like what are the five principles of lean, tell me the four pillars of Project Management) will be given the onus over hands on implementation of the concepts. Thank you for your time to read through. I would be awaiting your kind reply, as Im willing to provide my experience as a service to Cognizant.
Regards,
Venkat
