Dear Madam
We recently had the Fiber Optic Line installed at our residence. We also signed up for the family starter package, which we wish now wish to void.
This all started with your Team Leader Sales, Eish, who provided us with false information regarding both the installation of the fibre optic line and the non-availability of a channel we specifically requested for. We met Eish while he was canvassing for sales in our block. He was promoting the fibre optic line and SingTel's package for our mobile and television viewing. We told him that we were not in favour of installing the line as the trunking would be an eyesore in our home.
He then suggested an alternative wireless piece of equipment which he said did not require any trunking or wiring to be done. We were very interested on the wireless option and asked him if the lifestyle channel would also be available in the SingTel package, specifically "Junior Masterchef," which was our family's favourite programme. He knew exactly which channel and programme we were referring to as we were watching it during his visit. He assured us repeatedly that it was available in the SingTel package so we signed up for it.
Imagine our first surprise when your technicians followed up and informed us that BOTH the trunking and wireless equipment were necessary. We were not at all pleased but proceeded nevertheless since we had already signed the contract. Our disappointment grew when we discovered that there was also NO lifestyle channel and NO "Junior Masterchef ".
We sent Eish Sandhu several messages about this. We have also been corresponding with a Sampson U, from your feedback unit who has insisted that that was never any mention of the programme during the sales call.
We are most disappointed with your staff and the service they have provided.
Eish Sandhu is the epitome of an unscrupulous salesperson who employs dishonest sales tactics and makes empty promises just to close a sale. To make matters worse, your feedback unit has also chosen to condone his actions.
